Community -
Our community support commitment is dedicated to children, families, health and homeownership. Please visit our non-profit links below:
Michigan Heart Gallery www.miheart.org
Since it’s inception, Eco-Systems and their Michigan Distributor (Exhibit Design Consultants) has donated exhibit materials, graphics, providing installation and dismantle labor, and logistical support for this traveling exhibit.
There are over 300 children in Michigan currently waiting to be adopted through the foster care system. Most of these children are African American, over the age of 8, or need to be adopted along with other brothers and sisters.
The Heart Gallery is a photographic exhibit of children in the foster care system who are waiting for a permanent family of their own through adoption. The Heart Gallery is used to increase awareness about adoption and to recruit families for these children. The exhibit reaches out to prospective adoptive parents and the community by providing a beautiful way to learn about foster care and adoption. The exhibit also features photographs of families who have adopted children from the foster care system. The main exhibit opened in November of 2005 is traveling throughout Michigan.
Adoption Family Support Network www.afsn.org
AFSN's goal is to serve as a clearinghouse for information useful to adoptive parents, a source of support to families facing adoption issues, and an advocate for change in policy and practices that affect adoptive families. Eco-Systems regularly donates display materials and graphic to AFSN programs and events. Tim Morris, Eco-Systems President/CEO has been involved with the AFSN board since 2002 and currently serves a board President.
